Your data, your choice.
Community recovery works only with your authorization.
What Guardcord stores
Your Discord ID, display name, avatar link, browser and operating-system category, consent dates, the role names and role IDs you held in that community, and encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens. No Discord password or messages are collected. A community can separately request your email, linked connections or administered servers during verification; these optional fields are disclosed before authorization, encrypted per community and deleted when you withdraw consent. If network protection is enabled, your IP is sent to IPQualityScore for a transient check; Guardcord does not store it.
Linked account checks
When a community enables alt detection, a random first-party browser cookie recognizes repeated verification from the same browser. Only a community-specific keyed hash and matching Discord account IDs are stored, for up to 90 days. No raw fingerprint or IP address is retained. Shared browsers can produce matches; clearing cookies or using another browser can avoid detection. Communities can record matches, block verification or ban matching accounts. The verification page discloses the policy before you authorize Discord. Withdrawing consent removes your stored browser associations and matches.
How authorization is used
Your community's operators can use active authorization to join you to a replacement server connected to the same application, including roles that can be matched there. Your consent is scoped to the community you verified for. Leaving that community does not withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent here, or revoking the application in Discord, prevents further recovery.
Withdraw or delete your authorization
Verify your identity below to withdraw community consent. When no active community consent remains, your stored authorization credentials and member profile are deleted. Minimal revoked consent records remain to prevent accidental recovery. You can also revoke access in Discord under User Settings → Authorized Apps.
Manage my consent
Enter the Discord application ID shown on its authorization screen, or ask your community's operator.
